Turn compliance into an opportunity for growth
The climate crisis is driving the move towards a circular economy with a new urgency. In the EU and North America, legislation is being introduced that makes it mandatory for garment information to be available digitally.
That means every garment will need a Digital Product Passport (DPP) or a digital ID; a unique digital log containing information about things like its origin, composition and environmental impact, as well as how it should be cared for and recycled at the end of its life. To enable this, apparel companies need digital tools to track, trace and report on their garments.
A significant majority of consumers (79%) are changing their purchase preferences based on sustainability.
This contrasts sharply with the 36% of organizations who believe consumers are willing to make this
change in their choices/ preferences based on
social or environmental impact.
Such a gap represents a risk of ~6% of brands
& retailers revenue if unaddressed.
